Sanity fights back, at last

But closing the Tavistock's pernicious gender clinic must be only the first step

At last! London’s Tavistock transgender clinic is to be shut down by the NHS after a review found it is “not safe” for children. 

You can say that again. But welcome as this decision is, it is nowhere near enough. 

What it was doing was unspeakable. Children presenting with a range of psychological disturbances — including autism, depression, eating disorders and confusion over their sexuality and sexual identity —  were not being treated for psychological disturbances but sent off for medical procedures to change their “gender”. 

Instead of treating these young people for their obviously disturbed perception that they were somehow in the wrong “gender”, these psychologists and psychiatrists staggeringly chose to accept these patients’ pathologically distorted view of their sexual identity as true. 

Other professionals — particularly teachers and head teachers — who are involved in the care of children have also been promoting this transgender insanity. It’s time they all started being held properly to account for the terrible damage they have done and are still doing to vulnerable children.
