My podcast discussion with Josh Hammer

I was very pleased to join Josh Hammer on his podcast to discuss the themes of my most recent book, The Builder’s Stone: How Christians and Jews built the West — And Why Only They Can Save it. His own book a few months later, Israel and Civilisation: The Fate of the Jewish Nation and the Destiny of the West, tackles similar questions.

We discussed why part of the right has lost the plot, and the corresponding failure of conservatism over the decades to stop the rot in the West; the unique contribution that the Jews have made to the development of Western civilisation, and the value of the State of Israel to American security; and the impact of “soft” jihad and whether western civilisation is salvageable at all.
