A world that's lost its mind and conscience
The most terrible aspect of the transgender battle is the harm done to children
The controversy over transgender has centred upon the great battle between “gender- critical” advocates, who believe that biology determines immutable sexuality, and the “trans” movement which confuses “gender identity” with sexuality and holds that this is dictated by an individual’s choice and therefore can change.
In this extraordinary battle over what it is to be a human being, there’s nowhere near enough urgency over the worst aspect of all this — the truly wicked onslaught upon the bodies of children and teenagers.
Such children suffer from “gender dysphoria” — often along with a range of other mental health problems including autism, depression, anxiety or eating disorders as well as struggling with homosexual feelings. Yet instead of treating such children for a complex of psychological disturbances, some members of the so-called caring professions have subjected their bodies to chemical and surgical procedures that may cause irreversible changes. This is even though such children, whose emotions are all over the place and who don't have the maturity to make life-changing decisions, may well change their minds about what they are.
